Installing openSUSE Linux
- [Instructor] To get started installing openSUSE, I'll visit opensuse.org. I'll find the download link for the version that I want, and in this case, I'll use Leap, the regular release version. I'll download the installer by clicking the Install Leap button. On the Leap page, I'll choose the Download tab, and then I can choose to download an Offline Image or a Network Image. I'll download the Offline Image by clicking the Download button, and I'll save the file. Once the installer finishes downloading, I'll switch over to Virtual Box, and create a new virtual machine. To do that, I'll click the New button, and I'll give my system a name. I'll click Next, and give the machine four gigabytes of memory. I'll continue through the Wizard, and give my system 80 gigabytes of hard drive space. And then I'll click Create.
