- Improving change culture in your organization starts with justifying the cost. Pilot projects can be really useful in doing that, and we'll talk about those later in this video. But first, you need to show how recently completed projects without change management performed. Then run the pilot project with change management and show how it improved things. You'll want to use hard numbers, and not gut feelings, to sway those in control of the finances. And you need three sets of those hard numbers to make that comparison. The first group is for project management and should be easy to obtain. You'll want to know the actual versus planned information for project budgets, timelines, and scopes. Change management helps achieve more project objectives, helps project teams stay on or move ahead of schedule, and decreases spending of the budget.
