- Hello and welcome to Lesson 4. In this lesson, I'll teach how to set up a lab environment that is based on Minikube. I'll first give you an overview of the different options for deploying Kubernetes. Next, you'll learn how to install Minikube on either Linux, Windows, or macOS, and how to work with it. You'll also learn how to run Kubernetes in public cloud or how to build an all-in-one Kubernetes distribution. But even if it's cool to do so, I really recommend you use Minikube for this course because it offers a complete distribution that closely resembles the exam environment. If you are using other Kubernetes options in your lab environment, you might miss functionality that is covered in this course. At the end of this lesson, I'll show you how to run your first application, and you'll find a lab that allows you to set up your own lab environment.
