- Welcome to "Lesson 1: Understand and Using Containers." This lesson provides a quick overview of container essentials. It's not meant to be a complete introduction in containers, but it teaches those things you need to know about containers while working with them in a Kubernetes environment. I'll start by explaining what a container is and how it is different from a virtual machine. After that, you learn about the role of the Container Registry and actually learn how to start and manage containers. You'll also learn about container logs. At the end of this lesson, there's a lab that allows you to practice the skills you've just acquired.
