- [Narrator] Analytics models are just like anything else in this world, and have their own life cycles. In their earliest stages, such as business and analytics problem framing, they're simply concepts in their stakeholders' minds. Then the models become more concrete through reasoning and subsequent specifications and data requirements and methodologies. We eventually build and deploy our models according to the outcomes of these analysis and design steps. The nice thing about the analytics model life cycles is that we can dictate what happens in them. The recommended approach for shaping a model life cycle is incremental and recursive. That is, we analyze, design, and implement a model gradually, and keep refining it until we are satisfied. This is critical, because the environments that surround our model are inherently dynamic.
