- [Instructor] Let's add some receptacles. The Revit term for receptacle is actually an Electrical Fixture. The objective of this video is to add some different kinds of electrical fixtures and look at the type of properties of those fixtures. In Revit under MODELS, let's go to Open. Browse where you're keeping your Exercise Files. I'm going to jump down to Chapter-03, I'm going to grab 03_01_Receptacles, then let's click Open. In the Project Browser, let's scroll down until we find Electrical, Power, Floor Plans. Let's double-click on 1-Power. Zoom into this area here. One thing that bothers me is this hatch pattern in the architectural model. So let's go to Visibility/Graphic Overrides by clicking Edit right here. Scroll down until you find Floors, select it, I don't want to turn it off. But for Patterns, let's click Override. Let's uncheck our Foreground and our Background patterns. Click OK. Click Apply.…
