Optimize local drives by using Disk Cleanup or Storage Sense
- [Instructor] When a hard disc gets full, starts to slow down or produces errors, you can often resolve the issue using tools included with Windows 11, one of those is Disk Cleanup. Disk Cleanup lets you get rid of unnecessary files easily including those created by the system itself. If you use OneDrive, you can further improve disc performance with Storage Sense. Let's start with Disk Cleanup. You can find it by searching for it from the task bar. Notice the drives you can clean up. I have C and Google Drive G. Let's start with the root drive and click okay. Go through these items one by one, and notice the ones selected by default. You can click any item to see a description of it. Here's temporary internet files. You can see the description states that these are files collected from the internet that make webpages you visit load faster. It's okay to delete these. They will repopulate when you…
