- [Instructor] You can configure settings for any virtual machine you've created. To get started, open the Hyper-V manager. There are two areas I'd like to discuss here. First, we'll explore the default settings associated with the computer that host the VMs. Second, we'll explore the settings associated with a specific VM on that host. So to start right click the computer the VM's are associated with and click Hyper-V Settings. The first two options define where you want to store your virtual hard disks and virtual machines. I've left the defaults selected, but you can change the default location by clicking Browse. Underneath these, you might see a physical GPU option. That's the GPU you'd associate with your VM's. I don't have that option here. The next option is NUMA Spanning. This allows you to let virtual machines span physical NUMA nodes. This is enabled by default and we'll leave it this way.
