Drawing and editing polylines
- [Instructor] We're starting another chapter now in our AutoCAD Certified Professional preparation course, and what we're going to look at are some additional drawing techniques that you may use when you're drafting in AutoCAD. Now one of those is the tools around drawing and editing polylines. Now you'll notice I've got a new drawing for you, it's called Additional_POLYLINES.dwg. Nice and easy to remember. You'll find it on the website to download as the exercise file to follow along with this particular video. Now you'll notice over here on the left-hand side of the drawing I've got an arc, and I've got some lines as well. Now it may be that I want to convert all of those elements to a single closed polyline. Now if I want to do that, I need to use the Polyline Edit command. Now if I go to the Modify panel here on the ribbon in the Home tab, you'll notice there's various polyline commands here, and it's this one here, Edit Polyline, or P Edit as you can see there on the tool tip…
