Blending between objects with splines
- [Instructor] We're starting another drawing now in our additional drawing tools chapter. Now, the drawing is called additional_blend.dwg and basically we're going to look at how we can blend two splines together in AutoCAD. Now, you can download the file as usual from the website and use it as the exercise file to follow along with the video. Now, before we actually put the blend in between these two splines that we've got in this AutoCAD drawing, what I'd like you to do is go up to your layers panel on the home tab, click on the fly out and select the layer blend. Now, the reason I want you to do that is so that you can see where this blend goes so it's a different color. It's green instead of red. Now, the blend command is really easy. I always just type it so I just type blend like so and you can see it pops up there on the suggestion menu so just select blend on the suggestion menu and it's really quick and easy.
