- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll look at what you need to know about drawing vectors for the Photoshop ACP exam. There are three main tools in the toolbar for drawing vectors. The Pen Tool allows you to draw shapes by clicking to draw straight lines and dragging to draw curves. The Freeform Pen Tool allows you to drag on the canvas to draw vector shapes in a natural way like a pen on paper. And the Curvature Pen Tool, you simply click three times to make a curve. And after you're done drawing with any of these tools, you can use the direct selection tool here to adjust the vector paths. To practice with them, we can try tracing some of the curves in this thought bubble over the guy's head, starting with the Pen Tool. And to make it easier to see the paths I'm drawing, I'll turn on this layer, which is partly transparent. Now since I want to start with a curve and not a straight line, I'll take the Pen Tool and I'll click and drag without releasing to set my first anchor point with…
