- What do you say when you first walk into your in-person prospective donor meeting? How do you increase the odds of making a good impression as you greet a prospective donor? In this video, I'm going to walk you through four ways to nail the greeting, which are using the rule of 10, being different, being confident, and lastly, mastering the handshake. First, try using the rule of 10, which states that the first 10 words you speak should include a form of thanks. Here's an example. Good morning, Mrs. Robertson. Thank you for agreeing to see me.
