- Events are a major channel for donor engagement and revenue for many nonprofits. Galas, walk-a-thons, silent auctions and comedy shows are examples of events designed to attract and involve people in a nonprofit or cause. Like any large undertaking, planning and executing events comes with benefits and challenges. Though managing event logistics can test your organization's limits, the rewards often make the effort very worthwhile. In this video, I'm going to walk you through how you can harness the benefits of events for your organization. Number one, face-to-face opportunity. Any chance you have to meet with your prospects and donors face-to-face is valuable and an opportunity to build your relationship.
