Working with audio separately

- [Instructor] It's pretty common in my workflow to separate the audio track from the video track, and work with it independently. Maybe I don't need the video track, just the audio. Perhaps the audio is perfect, but the video isn't quite right, and I'd like to realign the audio with another video clip. Or, sometimes the audio is out of sync with the video, and I need to realign things. All of these can be remedied by working with the audio and video tracks separately. So the first thing I'm going to do is show you how to separate those. I'm going to select my clip, right click, and just choose Separate Audio and Video. Now I have two separate tracks, one for audio, one for video. I could work with each one independently, or maybe I just need the audio, and I can delete the video to keep things simple, and take a bit of a load off my computer.
