- Let's take a look at advanced audio leveling for a strong and consistent sound. I'll be demonstrating with an audio only clip but the steps I'm going to show will work for any audio track with or without an associated video track. Okay, so the first thing I'm going to do is disable the auto normalized loudness feature right-click here in the canvas, choose Project Settings. And I'm going to disable this and click Apply. The reason I did that is that feature affects the entire project. And I don't want to be fighting with it as I'm going to be making some specific audio adjustments. Next, I'm going to pop open the audio effects tab here and I'm going to drag and drop audio compression to my clip. Audio compression is very similar to the auto normalized feature, but it provides more options and more control. I'm going to show you some starting points as a guideline but don't feel like you have to use these exact settings.…
