- Diversity is a hot topic, and it needs to be. Countries around the world are becoming more diverse as the world's population becomes more mobile and migrate around the globe. More and more, we are citizens of Earth. Understanding the needs of a diverse population and leveraging their skills and viewpoints is becoming an imperative for business success. However, while corporate targets for things like gender equality and representation from minority groups are in place and being tracked, many of us are missing the point, and along with it a significant opportunity. The power of having a diverse team is to create a larger pool of skills and viewpoints to help support the business and each other as we strive to succeed.
