- [Narrator] Describe a picture task. In the second task, you'll be given a picture and asked to describe what you see. You'll have 45 seconds to prepare and 30 seconds to speak. For example, if the image shows children playing and a dog running, use descriptive language to paint a vivid picture. Mention colors, actions, positions, and vary your action words. Here's an example of a good response. Three young children are playing in a green grassy field. A large black and white spotted dog is running in front of them. The youngest child looks delighted to see the dog, and the dog also appears to be very happy and excited. The oldest child is bending down to pick up a black and white soccer ball, and the middle child is looking at the younger one with a slight smile. It is a sunny day and the blue sky and white clouds are visible in the photo. Can you imagine the photo? I'll now share another example of a good response for a very different photograph.
