- If you've been working in the project space for any length of time, chances are you have worked with business cases. Maybe you've been asked to create one, or possibly, you've been on the receiving end of one, using its contents to guide your work. A business case captures the rationale for undertaking a change. That change can be anything that requires time, money and or people resources, whether it's the acquisition of new equipment, new software, even a new service the business wants to provide its customers.
