- As a business analyst, there will be times when you're asked to define requirements without sufficient time to plan your communication approach. When that happens, if you're anything like me, you'll hear that little voice in your head saying, "If you fail to plan, you're planning to fail." I hate to say it, but that voice is right even when you're tight on time. But planning doesn't have to be time-consuming, and if done right, it actually saves time by reducing rework. In this video, I'm going to show you how to do just enough business analysis communication planning. I'll provide you a three-step process you can use along with a simple template to pull together your planning decisions. Our first step is determine what you'll communicate.
