- [Instructor] The wallet is where users keep their tokens, both fungible and NFTs, but crypto wallets do more than that. The wallet is where the user experience begins and ends. For our dApps, we'll be interacting with these wallets either via mobile apps, or via web plugins. In this video, we'll discuss how web wallets work. There are many different wallets available for Ethereum. These wallets sometimes specialize in one thing or another, they might be an actual browser, they might be a plugin, they might be an app. They exist for different reasons, and there are a myriad reasons why you'd use these different wallets. For the purpose of this course, we're going to stick to MetaMask. MetaMask is one of the earliest wallets, and is still the most popular wallet.
