What is Azure AI Foundry?
- [Instructor] What is Azure AI Foundry? Azure AI Foundry, formerly known as Azure AI Studio, is an enterprise-grade platform to develop AI applications on the Microsoft Azure Cloud. The word foundry is traditionally associated with the metalworking industry. It refers to a place where raw metals are mounted and shaped into specific components. While Microsoft uses the word foundry in its product name, my impression is that it emphasizes the concepts of transformation, creation, and collaboration. You may ask, "What does enterprise grade mean?" It means Azure AI Foundry offers key capabilities for building AI applications in enterprise environments. For example, AI developers need to explore and deploy models from various providers, implement software development to lifecycle to design, build, evaluate, and deploy their AI solutions, access professional tools like agents, prompt flow, fine tuning, and evaluation, manage all project resources like connections, models, endpoints…
