From the course: Building Great Forms with HTML and CSS

What you should know

- [Instructor] This hands-on course is designed to help you learn better techniques and skills in regards to coding and designing web forms. We will be hand-coding HTML, CSS and some JavaScript. So you will need to be familiar with these languages to get the most out of this course. But keep in mind that because the focus of the course is building great forms, I will not be explaining the nuances of every code block even though many of my examples will have other elements. If you are not familiar with any of the coding languages I mentioned, I suggest you check the library for more information on these topics. You should feel comfortable hand-coding, have familiarity with web development and know how to use an IDE. I will be using Adobe Brackets but you can use any IDE for this course. I have a slew of examples to share with you and a lot of content to create. I will be providing you with all of the code so you can get up and running fast. I recommend you take some time later to go through the files and experiment with what I've made for you. Then practice by building out your own forms. I would also encourage you to watch my UX for Forms course. I cover a lot more UX form practices in that course and you will gain more knowledge in design and strategy. Let's start learning how we can make our forms great.
