- [Instructor] Are you ready to stretch yourself a little? If you are, I've got a challenge for you. Norsk Hydro is an aluminum producer with 35,000 employees in 40 countries all over the world. On March 19th, 2019, Hydro was the victim of a cyber attack targeting their worldwide infrastructure. Production lines had stopped at some of its 170 plants, and it was a ransomware attack that locked the files on 22,000 computers and affected all employees. The financial impact would eventually approach $71 million. If you had been asked to make Norsk Hydro more cyber-resilient prior to the attack, what are three things you would do to prepare the company to withstand and quickly recover from ransomware?
