- [Instructor] Imagery on e-commerce sites is incredibly important. So much so that 75% of online shoppers look at images before anything else. 22% of the time buyers return something because it didn't look like how they thought it would. And if your products have really good imagery, they're 40% more likely to be shared on social media. All this information means your images need to not only look good, but be strategic and load quickly and properly. It's a good idea to hire a professional to take product photos, but it's totally possible to do it yourself so long as you keep a few things in mind. Always make sure the image is well lit and uses complimentary colors for backgrounds. Make sure the image is not too busy and is high quality and sharp.
