- [Instructor] In each of our device designs, software is required. The shift in computing from desktop to mobile devices is closely tied to software distribution. What used to be a direct from a software vendor has become applications distributed through two centralizing public sources. The Apple App Store and the Google Play store. Thus, a large part of any mobile device management platform is over the air or OTA application management. Through Intune organizations will purchase applications and wirelessly deploy those applications to the users who need them. In review, for Mary, we need Outlook and company portal. For Zach, we need Outlook and Teams. And for Jess, we just need Teams. So let's take a look at how we get that software available for both iOS and Android devices into Intune and prepared for deployment to Mary, Zach and Jess.
