Build a lab with VirtualBox
- [Instructor] Let's build some virtual machines. I'll go through this process a little quickly, and if you want to learn more details about how VirtualBox works and how to use it, check out my course, "Learning VirtualBox," here on LinkedIn Learning. To create a machine, I'll find this Nnew button over here, or find the machine menu and select New from there. I'll give my machine a name. In this case, I'll call it "Ubuntu Desktop," because that's what I'll be installing in it. And I can see that this sets some options down here. To install an operating system, we'll need an installer. So here under ISO Image, I'll browse to my desktop installer and open that up. Here, I can see that I'm installing a Linux system, and VirtualBox has detected that I'm installing Ubuntu. We can use the unattended install feature, but I'll skip that for now. In the hardware section, I'll set how much ram this machine can have. In this case, eight gigabytes. And how many virtual processor cores it has…
