- [Scott] After I've enabled Hyper-V and restarted my system, we can find Hyper-V Manager and use that to create and work with virtual machines, virtual networks, and so on. I'll open the Start menu. I'll type hyper, and here I can see Hyper-V Manager. I'll open that up. From the Hyper-V Manager, we can connect to other Hyper-V hosts on the network and manage them as well. Hyper-V Manager gives us a few different ways of creating virtual machines. I'll click on my host here. And then I'd like to draw your attention to the right side of the screen up here at the top. The first option we have for making a virtual machine is Quick Create, which makes a few configuration assumptions and even lets us create an Ubuntu or Windows development environment without having to download ISO images and configure machine settings ourselves.
