- Creating a brand is one of the lower lift, higher impact steps you can take towards getting your security awareness program off the ground. This allows for employees to easily identify when a communication or training is from the security team. The consistent visual with the messaging serves to help market your group and build trust, as well as have significant impact on your group's perception to your employees. On the other hand, if you choose not to create a brand or don't have the support to do this, it's not a deal breaker for your program though it will help set your team and their communications apart.
