- [Speaker] Let's imagine that we are trying to find a new novel to read for the book club we host. We want to gather an overall understanding of what this book is about, what it commonly talks about, and if it generally has a positive or negative tone to it. One of the books we come across in our search is "Great Expectations" by Charles Dickens. "Great Expectations" follows the Childhood and Young Adult Years of Pip, who is a blacksmith apprentice in a country village. He suddenly comes into a large fortune from a mysterious benefactor and moves to London where he enters high-society. To obtain this novel, to evaluate it we will use Project Gutenberg. Project Gutenberg is a website containing over 70,000 eBooks that are free to use. You can navigate to Project Gutenberg by going to the URL, www.guttenberg.org.
