- [Instructor] One of the most important things to pay attention to prior to setting up a new multisite is your host. Not just any WordPress hosting company or account will do. Multisites require some special features. There's a good chance your existing hosting account either already includes these things, or you may be able to contact your support team and request an upgrade. When shopping around for hosting, look for hosts that provide a multisite installation automatically via the host account control panel. This won't be available through all companies, but if you can find this feature, it will make your work a lot quicker and a lot easier. Some places to look at are WP Engine, Bluehost and Cloudways. Typically, for a multisite network, you'll need a VPS hosting account or a dedicated server.
