- [Narrator] One of the benefits of a multi-site is to be able to automate systems and create easy and customized processes for new site building, and we can use default content to do this. Use this feature to edit what custom messages new admins will see when they start creating posts and pages. This could be anything you want. A welcome message, instructions, rules, templates, links, images, whatever you want. This content should be useful to site admins and help them get started publishing new content on their own. For example, on our university website, maybe we want to give a new professor the ability to use a multi-site in order to send out their syllabus, class assignments and discussion topics to students. In this case, the professor would be the subsite admin, and the students would be editors. At the beginning of the school year, when the teachers get access to their new site, we want them to see a welcome message and a bullet list on their pages that walks them through how…
