For other e-commerce platforms, I recommended browsing through the themes and choosing one. For WooCommerce, though, they do have one official theme called Storefront. WooCommerce has many other themes too, and there are thousands of third-party themes that you can find on wordpress.org. But for WooCommerce, I tend to recommend Storefront. They test WooCommerce updates against Storefront, so it's very rare for something to break with this theme. We already have this installed on our site. If you don't have it installed, you can download it here or you can download it also from wordpress.org. In your site, go to Appearance, Themes. Here's our Storefront, but if you didn't have it installed, you could click "Add New Theme" and then search for it. You can also search for WooCommerce themes, and you can see there are 1,800 to choose from.
