- [Speaker] When working with BigQuery, it's very important to keep track of costs because the internet is full of stories from people who lost control of their costs and ended up being charged very large sums of money by Google. Everything we do in this course will be free for you, but I still want you to implement all the precautions so that you don't get any bad surprises, and I'm going to show you how to do that. So I'm going to assume that you signed up for Google Cloud and you created your first project, and here I am in the homepage of the project. Now the project is the container for all the tools and resources that we will use on Google Cloud. Each project is attached to a billing account, and the billing account contains your payment information, which allows Google Cloud to charge you for your usage within the project.
