- Transparency is everything in creating a fulfilling career. And most of us don't take the time to reflect on how the things we value align with what we do day-to-day, so we're going to do that right now. With a career design exercise, you have now built yourself an idea, an initial idea of a destination. Now, of course, this is going to be a living, breathing, evolving document but it's time to use what we have in order to pull out the things that we value. So take what you designed and then take the list of values from the downloadable file, and I want you to see which of them apply to that ideal or optimal life. Now, it's going to be hard to pick between all of the options that are there especially because many of them are quite, quite similar. But you're going to want to pick your top five.
