From the course: Brand Strategy for Designers

Who this course is for

- This course is for designers who are either charged with creating, collaborating or manifesting a brand strategy or for designers who are interested in exploring brand strategy for their own brand. It assumes you understand the creation of strategy artifacts like logos, typography, and color selection. It's not a course on how to make any of those things, but rather for defining what should influence those, and many other brand executions. This course also assumes the sensibilities most designers have towards audience understanding, empathy and creating brands from the people up rather than the corporation down. All great brand strategies start with understanding what an audience needs, and how they react to what they experience. This course is not for experienced strategists. It's a foundational course designed to give those who are often tasked with executing on a brand strategy with the tools they need to understand the context of what they're creating. If you're a designer looking to shine a light on why people think and feel a certain way about a brand, this course is for you.
