- [David] Today we're going to talk even more about hair. And I know you're excited! For this week, I want to talk about Hair Children and what you can actually do with them. There's so many options. Some that you can't even see until you're at render time. So let's get started by getting an interesting shape. Sorry little cube! X, Delete, Shift +A Let's add ourselves a monkey. Hit Tab to go into Edit Mode. Control +F. Shade smooth, there we go. Let's zoom in here. Now I'm going to come to Render Settings. And while I like Eevee, there are a few options that are only available to Cycles. So I'm going to switch to Cycles. If you have a GPU, please switch to it.
