- [Narrator] In our previous video, we created a rig for our little monkey. And it's pretty decent, but as you can see, when I start to move some shapes, it affects the eyeball incorrectly, or if I move the ear, it starts to pull the eyeball itself. In order to fix this, we need to do something that's called weight painting. Let me show you. First, you want to come to this little running dude. Come over here, and where it says display, switch that to stick. You're going to want a lot of real estate, and you don't want a bone in the way. Next, come up to object mode, shift select the monkey, come down to weight paint mode, and you'll be greeted by a blue monkey. Now, here's the thing, if it's blue, that means that that specific (mumbles) is not attached to the bone that you have selected in any way. The hotter it gets, the more attached, until it's red, and then that means it's completely attached to the bone. Now…
