- Just like with liquids, Mantaflow can create incredible-looking fire and smoke simulations because of the significant upgrade it brings to Blender. Let's take a look. The first thing I want to do is hit spacebar and type in "quick smoke". Then I want to come down to the bottom left here and switch it to Smoke + Fire. Now, if for some reason, that doesn't work for you, or if you use the operator search and this little submenu doesn't pop up, don't worry. I can show you how to change it a little bit later. Just like with liquids, Fire + Smoke operates on the same concept of a flow object in a domain. The domain is where the simulation will take place within and the flow object is where the simulation will be coming out of. Let's go ahead and drag this out so we have a little bit more real estate. There we go, and click on the Physics tab. Now click on our little cube here and you can see here that it is a Type: Flow.…
