Linking models in a project
- [Instructor] I used to wait until people had a fair amount of items modeled before I set the projects up for them. I don't do that anymore. We can still set the project up and link the models together before a single thing has been modeled. What we're going to do in this video is link models, origin-to-origin, pin them, and transfer project standards. So to get started, jump into Revit under models, go open. Browse where you're keeping your exercise files. In Chapter one, go to your project, stick to architectural. Stick the architectural file, and click open. Now what I like to do is I like to create a working level. So right click on level one, duplicate view. We can duplicate with detailing. Right click on level one, copy one, and go to rename. Call it level one coordination, then hit enter. In your properties, go down to visibility graphic overrides and click edit, or you can type VG.
