What's in Chapter 5?
- [Instructor] The subject of this chapter is Revit Links. Now, there's a lot to discuss here. Revit Links can be set up very simply or in a more complicated way in BIM Collaborate Pro. As you move up the ladder of complexity, you gain more features, functionality, and control over the way the links are established. So there's a lot to consider when you are establishing your links within the system. And as I said, you're going to have different advantages, and disadvantages with each method. So the simplest method, the one that emulates probably the method that most of you are using typically on projects that are not in the cloud, is direct linking. This is where you just simply link two files together, and as soon as one file is saved, you're able to load those changes into the host file and see the results.
