Save a cloud model: Not workshared
- [Instructor] In this video, I'm here in Revit, and we are going to save this file to the cloud. So we're going to be creating what we call a cloud model, and it's exactly like it sounds. It's a model that simply lives in the cloud. So once you've set up your cloud interface, your project environment in your Autodesk Construction Cloud, you can then begin saving Revit files there, and you can do that directly from within Revit using the Save as Cloud Model functionality. Now, I want to stress that this is a standalone project, meaning that only one user can access this at a time. This is no different than if you saved a project on your local hard drive or on your local server. If the second person tries to open that file, it will tell them that the file is busy and that they have to either wait or open it read-only. The same would be true for a cloud model. So even though we can access this cloud model from anywhere in the world with an internet connection, we still can only have one…
