Direct linking
- [Paul] In this chapter, we're going to consider the various ways that you can set up Revvit links when working in BIM Collaborate Pro, and the Autodesk Construction Cloud. So, there are three methods. There is the Direct Link method, the Package/Shared method, or the Package/Consumed method. Now, in this video, we're going to consider Direct Linking, and we will talk about the other two in future videos. So, let's start by looking at a typical folder structure. So, if you were looking at the Docs module within the Autodesk Construction Cloud, you might see something like this. Now, for purposes of linking to Revvit models, we are not considering the, For the field folder. That's a special folder for the Docs module that typically, won't contain Revvit models, nor would we typically want to link to anything within that folder. Instead, all of the linking will occur within the project files folder and it's sub folders.…
