- [Instructor] We've seen how you can open documents right in the BIM 360 environment, but what if you want to simply download a file from BIM 360? Let's see how that works. Now before I go any further, I do want to point out that if you can avoid it, it's better not to download information from BIM 360 because of the philosophy of having one single source of truth. If you can view the document right here in the browser, then why download it and create another copy? So you only ever want to download a file when it's absolutely necessary. Another thing we need to point out is that the plans area is different than the project files area. When we're looking in plans, it may appear as though we're looking at 20 different files in this case, but as you know from a few videos ago, this is actually a single PDF, with 20 sheets in it.
