Making time for traction

- So there are all sorts of things that we can do to make more time for traction in our day. The first step is to plan the time, not the output. How many days have you gone by with to-do lists on your, to-dos on your to-do list, and you don't get through all of them and you just push them to the next day, the next day, the next? That's because you're planning the output, not the input. And that input, the one thing that you do have control over is how much time you put into a certain task. And make sure you budget that task on your weekly schedule. Now the next thing that we can do is to get rid of low-value work. A study in the "Harvard Business Review" found that about 40% of knowledge worker's time is spent doing low-value work, this work that needs to get done, but doesn't need to get done by you.
