- Accountability is about transparency. It is about communicating how you ensure trust and safety to the public by transparency reports. Now, transparency is actually a relatively new concept in terms of trust and safety. In the early days of digital platforms, trust and the safety teams believed that the less bad actors knew about our tactics and the strategies for identifying abusive behaviors, the less they would know how to circumvent them.
