Syncopation
- All right, let's move on to syncopation. You guys are going to love this. So, syncopation is where you play more beats that are anticipated, or more notes that are off beat, off of the standard downbeats. And, this is so useful in so many styles of music, rock, blues, jazz, funk, a whole bunch of different things. So, let's just play all of these different examples. I'm not going to give too much setup to it. Let's just go from one to the next. I highly suggest that you guys take each one slowly. If you're having a hard time kind of getting into the groove of it, just loop it and play it over and over, but I'm just going to play from one to the next right now. Here we go, here's example one.
