Create projects in Basecamp

- [Instructor] Once you've launched a project, one of the first things you do is create a project for it in Basecamp, that way you can keep project info in one place and facilitate team collaboration. When you want to create a project that's been approved, on the home page, you go to the projects section, and then click the new button. On the dropdown menu, choose new project, and then you type in the name. I'm going to append the timing to the name, so I'm going to make it 2021 Q2, and then I'll add the name of the project. When I click save, the box for that project appears in the projects section. Now I'm going to click new again and add a second project. I'll do the same thing with the timing, I'll put that as a prefix, and then the name of the project. When I press enter, or click save, that project appears in the projects section. Pinning projects keep them front-and-center on the homepage. If you want to pin a project so it stays at the top of the projects section, click the three horizontal dots in the box, then choose pin this project. That displays a pushpin showing that it's pinned to the top of the list. It's going to stay there regardless of how many projects you create. That's how you create projects in Basecamp for each project that's approved.
