- [Instructor] Azure is a subscription-based service. You'll need to have an active subscription. Microsoft offers several choices for getting a subscription. There is a business version, US government, nonprofits, students, and individual. If you are a business of any size, there are several options for licensing Azure. The fastest and easiest way is to go to the Azure website and sign up. The other alternative is to add Azure to your existing enterprise agreement. For this option, contact your enterprise account manager. This is intended for large organizations or customers who already have an enterprise agreement. In both these scenarios, you get direct monthly billing from Microsoft through a pay-as-you-go subscription. Another alternative is to buy your subscription through a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider, also known as CSPs. CSPs offer a variety of services besides licensing.
