- [Instructor] In this video, we would be learning about conditional access policy. So what exactly is a conditional access policy? In layman terms, conditional access means giving access to certain people on specific resources for a limited time duration. Conditional access is a tool that Entra ID uses to allow or deny access to resources based on certain identity signals. These signals include who the user is, where the user is, and what device the user is requesting the access from. There are certain advantages of using conditional access policies. It helps administrators empower users to be productive, it also helps protect organizational assets, and finally, it provides a more granular, multifactor authentication experience for users.
