- [Instructor] Azure Policy enables you to create, assign, and manage policies to control or audit your resources. Policy provides governance and resource consistency with respect to regulatory compliance, security, cost, and management. These policies help to enforce organizational standards and assess compliance at scale. Azure Policy also enables you to define both individual policies and group of related policies known as initiatives. You can assign a policy, assess the compliance, or even create a custom policy definition tailored to your environment. In the overview section, you get to know the resources that are compliant and that are not compliant as per your environment. We'll go to the assignment section on the left side and click on Assign a Policy. You can also assign an initiative, which is nothing but group of related policies.
